Triad Isotopes continues to grow its national footprint adding five new locations in South Carolina and Texas.

ORLANDO, Florida, November 8, 2007 - Triad Isotopes, Inc. headquartered in Orlando, Florida announced the acquisition of four radiopharmaceutical companies that operate four nuclear pharmacies in South Carolina and Texas and one cyclotron in South Carolina.

These acquisitions continue Triad Isotopes’ aggressive growth and investment in the radiopharmaceutical industry. With these, Triad Isotopes now owns and operates 23 nuclear pharmacies and 6 cyclotrons located throughout the Southeast. Triad started the year with 16 nuclear pharmacies and 4 cyclotrons. This represents a 44% and 50% growth rate, of nuclear pharmacies and cyclotrons respectively, in the Triad Isotopes family, the nation’s fastest growing radiopharmaceutical company.

Triad’s newest acquisitions are:
Pee Dee Isotopes, Inc. which operates nuclear pharmacies in Florence and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Pee Dee Isotopes was founded in 1993 by Dennis Wheelus R.Ph., BCNP and Sheila Boyle R.Ph., BCNP. The two pharmacies share a team of 33 full and part time employees who will continue serving the local medical community. Dennis Wheelus will join Triad’s executive team, become an investor in Triad and continue to direct the daily operations of both pharmacies.

Low Country Diagnostics, Inc. which operates a nuclear pharmacy in Charleston, South Carolina. This pharmacy was founded in 1995 by Mary Stewart Murphey R.Ph., BCNP, in 1995 in partnership with Wheelus and Boyle. Mary Stewart is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina where she was a pharmacist for 12 years.

Palmetto P.E.T., which operates a cyclotron facility in Charleston, South Carolina. This cyclotron operation was founded in 2002 by Murphey, again in partnership with Wheelus and Boyle. The Low Country and Palmetto P.E.T. operate in the same building, sharing a dedicated full and part time staff of 23 professionals. Mary Stewart will also join Triad’s executive team, be an investor in Triad and continue to manage the daily operations of both Low Country and Palmetto P.E.T.

Clinical Nuclear Services, Inc. which operates a nuclear pharmacy Corpus Christi, Texas. Clinical Nuclear Services was founded in 2000 by Al Landry, R.Ph., BCNP and San Landry. Al and his wife, San, will continue on in an advisory capacity for the near future, and will be investors in Triad. The Clinical Nuclear Services team of 10 full and part time members will continue serving the community with the same high quality service they have established under the direction of Pharmacy Manager, Lucio Garza.

Dom Meffe, President and CEO of Triad Isotopes stated, “We are very pleased that these quality companies have decided to be part of Triad. All the founders and employees have done an outstanding job over the years of taking care of their local medical community. This expansion permits us to continue our growth in the Southeast plus expand for the first time into the growing Texas marketplace. We look forward to working with these newest teams and helping continue their strong growth and high level of service.”

The Triad Isotopes business model combines the best independent, local nuclear pharmacies and cyclotrons with the capital and management experience of a nationwide corporation enabling the company to continually invest in and improve its procedures, equipment and staff. These resources are then deployed across the Triad network of facilities so they can increase their focus on patient care and customer service in the communities they serve. Triad recently opened the Triad Institute of Clinical Learning which is dedicated to the advancement of nuclear medicine through academic based research, publishing and training. Triad also operates a Brachytherapy Division, which is one of the nation’s largest providers of pre-loaded needles and strands for this innovative form of internal radiotherapy.

A nuclear pharmacy is a pharmacy that compounds and distributes radiopharmaceuticals used primarily in imaging procedures for cardiac and cancer diagnosis. Cyclotrons are utilized to produce FDG (Fluorodeoxyglucose) a short-lived positron-emitting isotope suitable for PET (Positron Emission Tomography), an imaging technology that can be used to assess tissue biochemistry.
