Orlando Florida, April 24, 2008 – Thank you for making United Way 14th Day of Caring huge success. Over 480 volunteers were out in full force yesterday working in 27 United Way partner agencies…
That’s over 3,570 man hours. Without your company, your team members or your coordination, this could not have happened! Thank you!
For those who attend the breakfast---we had over 280 volunteers in attendees. It was standing room only.
A special thanks to all the companies that donated door prizes and to Cherish Lombard with 97.5 WABB for all she did to make the breakfast truly enjoyable. What a treat for the volunteers… From the YMCA dance to the scavenger hunt… volunteers got into it, won fun prizes and had a blast.
Kudos to Mobile Area Water and Sewer Systems for having the largest volunteer team – 32 volunteers participated yesterday.
